Integration of Outreach into Undergraduate Curricula

The integration of outreach into undergraduate curricula is a strategy foreseen in the National Education Plan (PNE) and regulated by Resolution No. 7 MEC/CNE/CES, of 18 December 2018. This Resolution establishes that outreach activities must account for at least 10% (ten percent) of the total curricular workload of undergraduate  programs and must be included in their curricular structure, thereby promoting the integration of teaching, research and outreach activities.

At UFSC, the Joint Curricularization Committee (CMC) has been working to support the University in implementing this requirement across undergraduate programs.
