Outreach Council
The Outreach Council is a deliberative and consultative body on outreach matters. It is chaired by the Prorectorate for Outreach and Extension who is appointed by the Rector.
The Council’s responsibilities include:
- proposing outreach policies and regulations to the University Council;
- serving as an appellate body in outreach-related matters involving allegations of illegality in processes originating from the Councils of University Units;
- drafting and approving operating rules for the Council;
- establishing policies for the evaluation of outreach activities;
- issuing opinions on matters, plans and proposals within its area of competence;
- electing the representatives of the council together with the University Council, noticing that the indication of more than 1 (one) representative by University Unit is not allowed.
